Cellular to Wifi

Main screen   -   Cellular to Wifi

Cellular to WifiThis is the connection profile WMWifiRouter is best known for. It takes your cellular data connection and shares it over wifi, using an ad-hoc wifi network.

It is important to note that on many HTC devices, the wifi power mode is set to Best battery by default. This can be the cause of many issues, especially failure to connect and failure to route. You can modify this setting directly in WMWifiRouter by going to Options, Tools, Wifi, Power control, however, this does not work for all devices. Another way to change this power mode is by going to Start, Settings, Connections, Wireless LAN, and selecting the Power mode tab. This setting should be set to Best performance at all times.
