This documentation is relevant to WMWifiRouter version 1.20 and newer, and has been last updated to reflect the changes in version 1.25.
This option takes you to the battery configuration screen.
WMWifiRouter periodically checks your battery level and temperature, and may shut itself down to preserve the ability to make phone calls, prevent overheating, and prevent data loss due to battery depletion.
This configuration screen allows you to change how WMWifiRouter reacts to low battery levels and high battery temperature.
By default, WMWifiRouter will shut down when the battery level drops below 10% or the battery temperature exceeds 65 degrees Celsius.
Note that on some devices, temperature detection does not work. This may cause WMWifiRouter to shut down prematurely, or not at all. Most of these devices are automatically detected by WMWifiRouter.
Should you be using a device that does not offer proper temperature detection, and your device shuts down due to heat, do not panic. Most modern batteries have a thermal/chemical switch which will cut the power at a certain temperature, to prevent permanent damage. When this happens, your phone will initially not boot, because the thermal/chemical switch needs both time and a cool down to reset itself. Take the battery out of the device, and leave it alone for several hours before trying again (this may take up to 48 hours).
This configuration option may be changed while connected and routing, though in that case it may take up to a minute for these changes to take effect.
