It is possible to use the Nintendo DSi with WMWifiRouter, however only when using DSi-specific functionality and software. DS and DS-Lite software will not be able to use the internet through WMWifiRouter.

Setting up the connection on your DSi is completely manual, following is a quick guide on how to do it.

1) Go to System Settings

2) Click on the blue arrow until you get to section 3

3) Click on the Internet button

4) Click on the Connection Settings button

5) Click on the Advanced Setup button

6) To be able to get your Nintendo DSi to connect to WMWifiRouter you will have to use the new wireless ability that the DSi has, instead of what the DS/DS Lite have. The DSi when connected to WMWifiRouter will not be able to use any DS/DS Lite compatible internet functions, for example Mario Kart Online Racing. Please note that future games which are DSi enhanced will be able to use the internet functionality.

7)  You will see three connection slots, click on one of the connection slots which is not being used

8)  Do not click Search for an Access Point, click on the Manual Setup button

9) Click on the box for SSID

10) Type in the name of your connection for WMWifiRouter and press OK when done. Please note that this is case sensitive!

11) Only click the Save button if you are not using WEP encryption. If this is the case, proceed to step 16. If you are using WEP encryption (which is the default), click on the blue arrow.

12) Click on the Change Security Settings button

13)  Click on the WEP button and then click on the OK button

14)  A keyboard will appear where you will have to to type in your WEP key / password you have configured in WMWifiRouter. Press OK to close the screen when done.

15) Click on the Save button

16) Click on the Yes button to begin the connection test. Don't worry if the test takes long, it can take up to 60 seconds

17) This is what the screen should like look when the test succesfully connects to WMWifiRouter
