This feature requires WMWifiRouter version 1.69 build 1230 or newer, and only affects non-touchscreen devices!
On the Windows Mobile "Standard" operating system, used on non-touchscreen ("Smartphone") devices WMWifiRouter forces the screen to remain on while routing by default. This is because most of these devices cannot route when the screen is turned off, and doing so will drop the connection.
Some devices however are able to do this, and on these devices you may want to use the power (sometimes the end call) button to turn the screen off to go into low power mode and reduce power usage.
To enable this feature, go to Options -> Configuration -> Advanced -> Base -> Power Management -> Force allow low power, and set this option to Enable. Now you will be able to use the power button to turn off the screen, and if your device supports it, WMWifiRouter will keep routing.
