This feature requires WMWifiRouter version 1.69 build 1230 or newer, and only affects touchscreen devices!
WMWifiRouter by default prevents the operating system from turning off the screen and going into low power mode automatically, while you can still manually enter low power mode by using the power (sometimes the end call) button.
Several users have requested we make it so that the screen turns off and the device enters low power mode automatically, as this has several benefits. The problem with this is that on many firmware/ROMs this will cause Cellular or Wi-Fi disconnects, while on others it works as expected. Due to this problem we have decided to disable this feature by default.
To enable the screen turning off and the device entering low power mode automatically as it does when using your device normally, go to Options -> Configuration -> Advanced -> Base -> Power Management -> Auto low power, and set this option to Enable. If you do so, we advise you to take a few minutes and test if this works well for you and your connection is not randomly dropped when the screen goes off.
Please note that whether this works depends on your firmware/ROM, and not specifically on the device model.
